ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Enjonette “EJ” Baker is a Founder,
Speaker, and Educator whose work
lives where self-protection, mental
health, and community care meet. She
created Pretty & Protected, a training
program that blends firearms safety, de-
escalation, and daily readiness with
breathwork and healing practices. She
also leads Women Blessing Women, a nonprofit serving
women and families, and its initiative DEAFinitely
Empowered, which expands access to education, technology,
and career pathways for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing women.
For fifteen years across Los Angeles County and beyond,
Enjonette has guided trauma-informed workshops, youth
sessions, and retreats, reaching hundreds of women and
children. Her signature practices, the Mental Toolbox and
Release and Let Go, give people simple ways to breathe,
reset, set boundaries, and choose power over fear. Rooted in
lived experience and ongoing training, including completion of
the Los Angeles County Concealed Carry Weapon process,
she builds safe spaces where we can heal, learn, and lead.
This program is her testimony. It was created after a season
of harassment, heartbreak, and depression, in the quiet where
she chose breath over panic, prayer over fear, and boundaries
that restored safety. This program carries the steady work of
rebuilding from the inside out and the conviction that healing is
possible, one breath and one choice at a time.
“Thank you for your yes in speaking today. My life was impacted by
your testimony and the activities you led. I feel very encouraged now.”
